Shooting Star

Some First Nations people made an eyewash from an infusion of this plant, others made a charm out of the flowers in aide of increasing their wealth. A very pretty, dainty flower, I was just happy to come across a few of these up on the look-out bluff.

Meandering

How often we race through life, totally oblivious to the beauty that lies around us. Even when we go for a walk, it is to “burn off calories”, see how fast we can get this over with all to get home and do what? Watch T.V.? I invite you on a walk through our awe inspiring countryside. Try meandering along … take note of this little insect, that little bird, this little plant. Really look at things. Slow down! Enjoy. Start to become in tune with all of creation. Truly relax ... enjoy!
