Some First Nation peoples made a poultice by pounding the leaves and appling them to sweaty feet. Others made the leaves into a tea and the resulting liquid was used as a hair wash to prevent gray hair ... sounds like something I should use ... I wonder if it works once ones hair is already gray? Yet others used it to treat eczema. The seed floss can be used as tinder ... or insulation in your shoes ... should your tootsies get cold while out on the trail!
